Nor was I... Been watching for decades. We get calls and we don't. Same as anyone in any sport. We just aren't good in this sport.

 

we have had our 3 best players foul out..I think most are bs calls.

 

Liv had 3 charges today, I dont think any of them were good calls

by the way Vick Shaffer is a POS..he was a POS at Miss State and he is worse at Texas..fake tv persona

 

again not the reason we lost today, we just really are not good.

yeah again I am going to strongly disagree with you on this, we dont get near the calls other teams do. No we are not good, but since I been watching in the 80s and even when we were very good under Ross, we have never gotten the calls other teams have. There has always been a bias against Uf in any conference sport period. Even in mens basketball if you watched the game last night it was total BS..the mens team is so good and rarely gets to the FT line more then the opponents. UF has been battling with the conference offices since I can remember.

again it would not have mattered this year except maybe 2 games.

 

Again... blaming refs is not the answer. They are not the reason we are bad. Free to disagree, but we are bad. When we are good enough to deserve the win I'll care about call discrepancy. We have to be better than this though.

 

not sure about that one, and again I strongly believe KRF has at least 1 more year left unless she steps away. I think we would take a strong swipe at Simone Augustin if that were to happen

 

I have little doubt Stricklin would give her another year sadly.

 

Again…Nobody is saying that the refs are the reason we’re bad, just that they’re bad too.

 

nor should he, she recruited these players, injuries are part of the game, she is, again, imo, in over her head as a coach

are you reading most posts right or you just see the stuff about officiating and jump on that
I never blamed the refs, I just know they are terrible and we have sent complaints into the offices over the 35 years or so that I have been really invested in our sports programs. I am stating facts about the refs, I just know only a few years it really effected us on the court when we could have made some serious runs during the Ross era.

Missing Matharu hurt us more then anything this year

That being said I try not to complain too much about the stuff I dont know enough about..I am not an X and O guy in basketball, so I rely on friends who actually played at a high level or coached at least at a college level because anyone can coach AAU.

what I have been told more then anything this year is that KRF does not have a strong associate HC, do I think KRF is in over her head, most new HCs are..but yea to me she was and still is under water. She has a rising star in Cynthia Jordan as an asst and Rhyne Howard when she is off season who helped Warren and Reynolds in their offensive game.

That being said I keep saying she has 1 more year unless things change dramatically. If we keep everyone and the 4 we got early get on campus it is a nice upgrade as far as talen. But still need at least 2 from the portal.

I said over and over again this year that the roster management was not good. It was never good under Butler when she was here and this year we went backwards like it was the Butler era. We need 12 to 13 girls on scholly who are SEC level. This year we had maybe 7 with true SEC talent. But 2 were really too young to be big contributors and 1 redshirted. We cant make those same mistakes.

Portal opens soon after season so I am waiting to see what we do there.
