This guy is consistent behind closed and open doors. He is ungrateful. All of the actors involved are criminals. This guy keeps demanding money but much of it never made it to the Ukrainian military. Yet this guy keeps demanding more money. He is getting rich off of this war, while his country suffers. Liberals want to keep supporting this guy, but it’s obvious this war is dragging on due this guy acting in his own interests. it’s time to remove this guy, and put someone in charge that will end this war and create peace and stability to the region instead of continuing this war.
Cutting through the OP’s “own the libs” crap, Zelenskyy may have a pattern for moving the goal posts. That is a fatal flaw Zelenskyy has to own or figure out how to get to the right answer for his people. It was ugly what happened. But I can’t blame Trump and Vance for calling it out. Zelenskyy isn’t a white dove in all this. He needs to save his country and people.

There is a difference between a phone call that was expected to be private and the public humiliation of the president of a country that had once been an ally with the United States.

Agree. Zelensky/team probably expected to be called out and required to discuss an end game -and they should! The issue is it was done so live, in front of the world. Including insults & laughing at a leader of a state. Peppering him with petty questions for the cameras. That’s what broke this. Safe to say what I think of Trump but I would be po’ed if he ran into that in another country.

A guess -Maybe an agreed to peace/compromise that ends fighting. Creating a buffer zone, enforced by the EU (which I believe they’ve agreed to). US provides continued anti air missiles - no one else can like us. Ukraine signs a mining deal. Hopefully it’s not interpreted as US sends soilders.
"Security guarantee" would have implied the use of military force in assisting its non-nuclear parties attacked by an aggressor (such as Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty for NATO members) .
A reasonable deal although I do not think that Trump or more specifically his Russian boss Vlad would acquiesce to the provision under which the US provides air defense missiles. Trump hasn't simply changed the status of the US from an active supporter of Ukraine to a neutral arbiter, he has done a complete 180 and the US under his leadership is now siding with Russia.
