This team feels different. Very sold in all areas. -Base hitting is much improved. -Speed on the bases and an aggressive mentality. Lots of stolen bases early. -Bunting. The ability to make good bunts. It has paid dividends in multiple games already. -solid 3B. It’s been a minute since we had a really good defensive and offensive 3B. -Pitchers pitch strikes. Not a lot of 0-2 getaways. Pounding the plate and fewer, considerably fewer walks. -plate discipline, not the high number of strikeouts. -depth, noted by the substitutions Sully has made in multiple games. If you ain’t working there is someone behind you. This is a fun team.
Agree with most of this, but the K's are really starting to rise again as opponent pitching gets a little more legit. Last 4 games....12 K's, 10 K's, 8 K's, 12 K's. Two of those games with only 8 at bats. 34 innings,42 K's.
