Tonight's games: UF at UGA: trap game? Will be good to see Condo back for the Gators! Rocky Top at LSU: should be an easy win for UT. Cowbells at Bama: might be competitive....or Bama will dominate as they should. Carolina at Mizzou: an opportunity for Carolina to show the world they are actually a good team. 4 more games tomorrow night!
I got to see Houston last night for the first time and was duly unimpressed. They're D looked stout - for sure, but their O moved slow and not a lot of deep balls. All by design, I'm sure. I hadn't seen TT play either so hard to judge fairly, but they didn't jump off the scren as a incredible squad in my eyes. I hope I don't live to regret this post.
OK folks, for tonight we have 4 more conference games..... Hotty Toddy at Auburn.....easy win for War Eagle. Dores at aTm......would love to see a win by Vandy but...... Kentucky at Boomer Sooner.....Cats win this one but will be interesting to see if OK can compete! Short Horns at Bacon Bits.....might be the most competitive game in tonight's lineup.
Vandy beats Aggies 86-84, kind of surprised, but vandy is now a postseason lock if they weren't already. Ole Miss in but fading, blown out by Auburn Sooners lose a heartbreaker to KY 83-82, probably outside the NCAAs as of now. Ex Sooner Oweh was the difference for the Cats. A bit of finger pointing and trash talking at the end. Hogs beating horns at home in o/t. Hogs now looking good for ncaas, horns not so much.
Yep, bad fundamentals for Bama at the end. Had the game, but didn't block out on a free throw, then fouled and couldn't in bounds the ball, so turnover and Vols hit a prayer at the buzzer for the win. 79-76.
I'm not surprised that BYU is up on IA state. The Cyclones are overrated. Don't look now, but A&M is up 40-34 on Auburn at the half.
