Trump is not stopping anyone from donating to whatever charity they want. Americans are free to do what they want with their "after tax" dollars. Trump is restricting the taxpayer borrowed funds, on which we pay interest, from being spent willy nilly. The airline instructions are "Put your mask on first..." If our economy collapses due to stratospheric debt there will be many, many more deaths as there will be NO humanitarian aid going overseas. That, and likely a major war for the heck of it.
