It was probably an overreaction. I interpret Gruden as someone who does not exhibit any actually bigoted behavior; he just has a filthy mouth.

Seems rather unfortunate that an organization would remove a coach who won said organization a SuperBowl (the highest achievement possible in said organization's universe) from their Ring of Honor, only to reinstate same coach 4 years later into their Ring of Honor for no discernible reason other than political winds shifting. I would like there to be no racism actually, that would make the world a lot better. There's no way to pretend or positive think that into being though. I think you are the one who needs racism, it proves that things cant change. The world is what it is, progress is pointless.
First of all, it’s clear as day that you don’t care for white southerners who attend church and vote red. Why is it that groups of people tend to prefer their own kind? Why do we find large numbers of Vietnamese living in the same area? Why do the Jewish enjoy doing business with their own people and often times pressured into marrying into the same group? Nigerians, Slovakians, Cubans… On and on and on…people like to be around people they’re comfortable with. It’s not racist to prefer people you know. Lots of blacks do the exact same thing. For a smart guy, you really do miss the boat on this…every time. Do some more reading and get back to us.
