So. No blacks, women and LGBTQ persons are wanted in the military (as recent actions prove). Given that white male recruits total less than half of those signing up, where will the Armed Services find enough people? They are already not meeting recruit numbers. More money for private contractor Blackwater / XE / Academi or whatever name they go by.
So turning away people who are willing to fight and die for our country. Makes sense. I think p25 references bringing back the draft for a portion of the population.
Funny thing about a draft, and it might well happen if the U.S. blunders into something. How would Selective Service exclude types of draftees that $Trump already doesn't want to serve?
I'm not very familiar with military protocol; what will the Trans people's discharge status be? Also, dismissing them from military should mean that they are not eligible to serve if there is a compulsory draft?
This is not a merit based action. I don't know if it's true, but a quote from the article in the first post said there are thousands of transgender troops in the military. Maybe all the fired civil servants can make up the numbers.
