Our 18-1 Gators take on FGCU on Wednesday February 26 at 6 pm It will be broadcasted on SEC + Go Gators!
I imagine you’re still rattled after keeping up with all the hits/scores from the last game lol. Great job btw!
Florida Gulf Coast is 6-12. It seems they have decent pitching, but their offense is atrocious. Team BA is only .243 and their highest average for a regular starter is .286. Team slugging is only .293. Team ERA is 3.71 and their ace is Soph. RHP Alison Sparkman, 4-4, 1.68 ERA, 50 IP, .241 BA against. Should be an easy Gator win, but anything can happen. Jump on 'em early to take any hope for an upset away.
No disrespect to Kara but I hope not. Kara is a blessing to eat up mid week innings and save Keagan’s and Reds arms for the postseason. We didn’t have that opportunity last season and as great as Keagan’s was she eventually got got. I don’t think Kara is sec caliber but I believe she has an important role to play. Getting all the players to accept their role is the coach’s job. We as fans just get to watch.
If you want to see much softball get there on time. This game will not make it to the bottom of the 5th as well as the next five.
