Look. I believe Gods plan is beyond our comprehension (outside of the clear directives given in scripture) but simply using "Gods plan" as an answer to unanswerable questions isnt helping anyone. I stead of a generic tossed out line, perhaps a job placement effort could be built and temporarily funded by the money saved. But to fire someone and just say, "Oh well. God has a plan." Isn't a Christian response at all.
The Gov't will still be paying the laid-off workers' salary in the form of unemployment benefits. So much winning!
I enjoyed growing up in fl & liked living in tx. In fact, my wife & I took a weird road trip into FAROUT w. tx may of 2023...paid a dude $5 to take us across the rio grand.
Off topic, but after graduation I drove from Florida to San Diego. All i saw in west Texas was buzzards and sand, prayed my car didnt break down and thought I would never get out of there. Of course, once I got out I drove into the trailer parks of New Mexico, not scenic but at least there were people.
It was an acquired taste, but I love the seemingly endless emptiness...I feel very claustrophobic whenever I go back east.

What exactly is the point of this post? I know of no-one praying for the U.S. to face plant (except perhaps our international adversaries) -- certainly not your fellow Americans. Projection much?
