The pollsters to pay attention to are the ones that most accurately predicted the presidential election: Richard Baris Rasmussen Trafalgar Atlas Intel Patrick Basham Mark Mitchell (Rasmussen) takes a look at the various pollster numbers;
Going thru some of the data and the approval of musk jumped out. the poll in the op has his approval even 44% to 44%. 3 other polls show him under water by a good margin. “Washington Post-Ipsos poll, a net 34% of respondents said they approved of how Musk was handling his job, compared to 49% disapproving A Pew survey of U.S. adults taken Jan. 27 to Feb. 2 showed that Americans had more negative (54%) than positive (42%) views of Musk And a Feb. 15 to Feb. 17 Emerson College Poll showed 45% of respondents disapproved of the job Musk was doing, while 41% approved” https://www.axios.com/2025/02/23/musk-doge-disapproval-ratings-recent-polling Gallop has him 43-47
According to Rasmussen, Trump has seen a decline in job approval. Why do you think his approval is declining?
Good for him. It’s only been a month. He’s got 616 days before the midterms to get some legislation done.
Doing what needs to be done isn't always going to make everyone happy. Trump was elected to do this stuff.
Sometimes how you do something matters just as much as whether you do it or not. So yeah the people might say I want these things, and maybe trump does them, but ironically it’s not going to make him personally popular amongst most of the population. Which kind of sucks for him but it’s a tough time to be an elected leader in this country right now.
