Disagree, he's the most American president ever - big, dumb and racist, just like the country itself :)

I mean, I think it's unfair to say American's are stupid. Generally, humans are stupid in groups. It just is what it is, those of us in the U.S. aren't special.
I understand her frustration - from a democrat perspective, half the country has been bamboozled by an obvious self-interested con artist to such an extent that the guy could sell farts in a jar and they would buy it.
But from a "conservative" perspective, democrats are stupid for not believing in the deep state, believing in climate change, wanting bigger government, etc.
Given history, both sides are probably wrong, about a great deal. It doesn't really help to say that stuff out loud though. People in congress should be working on making the country better, and not whining so much.

He's anti-American with regards to the American ideals of democracy and the Constitution. Until Trump we never had a president attempt a coup to illegally stay in power. That's as anti-American as it gets. And he will do it again with far fewer restraints this time.

I notice the video cuts off the question. What is she responding to? Fringe right politicians? Musk & Trump?

Please don’t give any ideas to Trump. We already know his followers would buy them and pay plenty.

Do you think Jesus would be a conservative with all his healing the sick, feeding the poor, treating immigrants with hospitality, dignity, justice, mercy, and love, and sacrificing himself for the good of humanity?

Respect your view but agree 100% with Omar for the first time likely ever. You can claim people were "bamboozled", but they weren't. They were stupid enough to think Trump was only going to hurt "them other people". Yet Trump, Musk and the Heritage Foundation told the nation EXACTLY what they were going to do. Through a combination of stupidity and/or willful ignorance righties and moderate Dems and independents voted him in to office anyway.

To the farmers losing their livelihood, to the vets losing benefits and to federal works who voted for this admin, I say that they were stupid and are now facing the consequences of that while Trump, Musk, Putin and Xi laugh all the way to the bank.

Psychological projection. This is a defense mechanism in which individuals unconsciously attribute their own undesirable thoughts, feelings, or behaviors to someone else. In other words, if you're engaging in a certain behavior, you might accuse others of doing the same thing as a way to deflect attention from your own actions.

This phenomenon is also often colloquially referred to as "the pot calling the kettle black."

Trump is the acknowledged world champion of this practice.

    Lib condescension doesn’t really bother me because I can tell by the ignorance of most of the posts that are either;

    1) Not anywhere in the same universe of intelligence as they claim.

    Or

    2) They are intelligent but allow their emotions to get the better of their common sense.

Either way, you all are like the folks who take 10 minutes to decide whether you want a piece of pizza or the Hot Dog Combo at Costco.

Personally, I could care less which one I get as long as they have warm cookies.

Cool. I'm not a lib (and moderators, I consider that an insult, so I expect you do DO YOUR JOB HERE).

But who cares what you and the idiot brigade think anyway. Enjoy Hannity tonight!

I do not watch Fox or any other televised “news” outlet. It nauseates me. Almost like watching FSU.

    She’s not wrong.

It’s not even like it’s a slight majority of Americans like this either, it’s a strong majority that are either dumb as rocks, OR that are smart enough but pay zero attention to politics. However that still makes them uninformed citizens.

The only difference I see is that a smaller # of the left’s truly stupid are really politically engaged at all, it’s always a challenge getting them to show up. While the dum-dums on the right (esp right wing seniors) are engaged constantly but trapped in an insanity bubble/echo chamber, which imo is worse than being merely uninformed.

I am not a republican. I agree with Trump on probably 2/3-3/4 of the issues. In his first term I disagreed with the spending level and he should have fired Fauci as soon as his contradictions started. I’m not a big fan of tariffs. I’m good with using the threat and maybe implementing for a short time but not a long term solution.

What I believe you will see if you look over my posts is mostly taking exception to hypocritical leftist accusations. I have said many times that I would not want him dating my sister, but if I’m an election the alternative is Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden or Kamala Harris then yes, he has my vote.

In 2016 I supported Kasich, and DeSantis in 2024. Unfortunately, neither ran strong campaigns given all of the media circus.

I also find them more annoying than anything. Certainly not a threat. Just nieve, unattainable pie in the sky thinking in most cases. Avowed Communists aside, but they're pretty much non existent anyway.

Jesus wasn’t a tax man. Many if not most conservatives are very generous in their charitable giving. But wanting to help and giving of your time, talent, and treasure are much different than demanding people to do so through government taxation.

Jesus lived what he taught and set the expectation for his followers to do the same. He didn’t lobby the government to force them into compliance. He promised eternal salvation to those who accepted him and followed his teachings.
