I'm glad to have been wrong. It happens quite a bit, so I learned to embrace it long ago. The top grouping shrinks to 4 contestants, but everyone is still mathematically alive. Next up for the Jackass-Pick is @lifetimeg8r. Thanks - I'm glad to be off the hook for a game. At least you picked a road game... Anyway - worst of luck to you.
Only 4 games left and with so many picks being similar the winner is likely sitting with 11 or 12 points right now. The top grouping is down to 3 contestants and one of them (@firegator ) will either hold sole posession of first or drop down to the second grouping because of his pick of losing to Georgia. Which, by the way is an awful pick that only a complete idiot would make. If we win out (yes, I knocked on wood), I believe that @danmanne65, who picked a perfect 18-0 season, would join @tommyvee , @Gatorhead , and @tilly (by way of being the only one to predict the correct record) as the top four and will have a SEC tournament Extravaganza-off.
Well , before a ball ever bounced on a court and predictions were made by assuming fans of their respective college team of how a season may play out can make at least one an Idiot. I can live with it !
Congrats to you @exiledgator and @firegator.....I know you both didn't want this result but that doesn't take away your excellent pick!
Yay? I believe, I'm too depressed to spend any more time wallowing in Gator Basketball tonight, but I believe that @firegator may have just sealed it. Almost everyone has the same picks for the last three. The only contestants that have a chance of gaining ground are too far out to catch him, I believe. I'll revisit it tomorrow.
Not, yet! If we lose to Alabama, and beat Ole Miss, as most here have predicted - then yes. @firegator will win. However - because of the correct-record bonus point: Win out - and @tommyvee and @Gatorhead will tie fire. Lose out, and yours truly will tie with fire. I'm pulling for TommyV and Head here. For the rest of you, you have been mathematically eliminated. It was a valiant effort. There's always next year.
