No one is or was saying that Biden is or was brilliant. I'm sure Biden is a moderately intelligent guy, but he was not elected president for his intelligence. Biden had the wisdom to surround himself with intelligent people, and be willing to listen to them. Trump is not very wise; therefore, he surrounds himself with unqualified yes-men who are less intelligent, and he tells them what to think. Harris is smarter than Biden, undoubtedly (and way smarter and with a higher E.Q.--emotional quotient--than Trump, which is why she dominated him in their one debate), but people who voted for her were not selecting her for her intelligence. Again, she had more wisdom and political experience than Trump, and was a better listener. These are all subtleties that are probably lost on MAGA people, so I don't expect you to understand them.

Listening to advisors and automatically doing what they say are two different things. No president has the expertise in every field to make good decisions without the advice and input from experts.
