Korbe Otis batting 6th tonight. Strikes out looking on a 2-2 pitch. What is this pitcher doing that is fooling our girls? 3 of the 4 outs are K's.

 

Reagan Walsh hits a hard grounder up the middle, but apparently the 2nd baseman made a great stop and threw her out. 2 down.

 

Gabi Comia gets to a full count, then grounds out to 2nd. 3 up, 3 down going to the bottom of the 2nd. No score.

 

Zone is absurd. Have to adjust and start swinging away.

 

I just looked it up. Grand Canyon is the Antelopes, but mostly refer to their teams as just Lopes.

Next batter slaps a single up the middle off the glove of Williams on a 1-1 count.

 

Did anyone see Walsh limping after that ball went over Mia

 

#7 batter hits the first pitch to 2nd, Mia tags 2nd for the force out to end the inning. Going to the 3rd, 0-0. Fast moving game so far.

I'm not well versed in just how technical softball gets on pitching. Miami is exceptionally busy tonight so I am wondering if we are doing the reverse of the chronister switch such that the ball placement makes it harder to hit our left infield...is that possible or just how it's playing out?
