Talk of "skin color" always makes me laugh. I used to eat lunch everyday with a black coworker. He would put his arm up next to my suntanned arm and ask "now who's the black guy?". Lot's of times when I would walk onto job sites Mexicans and South Americans would start talking Spanish to me. I told a roofer one day "I don't speak Spanish." He pointed to his arm and said "But you look like me." I do have a little Native American blood in me but not much, I'm just a dark skinned white dude.

 

Yes, yes, I'm sure you all have a rainbow of friends. (Not the gay kind.) Still, the rhetoric directed at the melanin-blessed--dirty, insane, criminal--argues a certain hostility. If everyone wants to get riled up about immigrants taking our jobs, well, there are certain immigrants well-represented in the most lucrative careers and SHOCK! they aren't Mexicans.

I'm not terribly concerned with temporarily providing emergency medical care or food for the children of illegals. Providing kindergarten is insane.

 

If you believe Biden received more legitimate votes than Obama when he couldn't get 100 people to one of his pitiful rallies, so be it. You're clinging to make believe. My countrymen and women are going to prosper whether you like it or not.

Of course FEMA didn't use disaster relief funds to house the immigrants. It wasn't a disaster. The funds came from ICE, but FEMA helped administer the program because FEMA has the infrastructure and personnel to help house persons. ICE does not.
