Nice try. We all want a secure border, and we all want the criminals deported. What Trump is doing that you’re ignoring isn’t that.

Swing and a miss. Calling people liars and then thinking you are going to have a rational conversation is next level gaslighting. Absolutely hilarious that you say you want a secure border. Thanks for the laughs.

Seriously you expect anyone to actually believe you didn’t vote for Trump? I don’t blame any Trump voter denying voting for him, but a lie is a lie and you can’t convince me otherwise. If you could I would admit I was wrong and apologize, but we all know can’t, so……

I’m happy the border crisis is quieting, whether it was caused by Biden’s executive action or Trump’s one month rhetoric. It is positive.

Now that it is the best we’ve had since the 60’s, should Trump re-allocate resources to other places of need?

LOL. Didn't vote for that clown in 16,20 or 24. I don't give a rip if you believe me or not because you matter zero to me. I have principles that I follow and haven't voted for an R for President since 2012. Not my fault if you can't understand that there is the possibility that someone who didn't vote for trump actually wants a secure border. Too funny.

3rd party in 16 and 20, and voted in 24 but didn't cast a vote for President at all. Skipped that section because I didn't align with any party at this point.

One dude one week on week 3? Ok. I am just showing it has fallen steadily. If it ends up below the red line I drew then I will give Trump credit for the decrease below that line and then we can just discuss whether it was worth it or not. Definitely to be watched.

Do we need to finish the construction of the entire wall if the problem can be fixed this quickly?

Maybe. Wonder how the flow of fentanyl, etc has been impacted by the decrease in illegal border crossings.

Likely very little. Most drugs come in through legal ports of entry as contraband. And those bringing in drugs are more likely to be US citizens than undocumented immigrants. Migrants are more likely to get caught, whereas most US citizens stops at the border last less than 2 minutes before they get waived on through.

As for the dip in apprehensions at the border, it happened in 2017 and 18 as well. But 2019 saw a large spike that would have been even larger in 2020 had COVID not happened. And the current dip had already started under Biden. Let's see where things are in a few years before anyone declares victory.

Biden invoked policy 2nd qtr of 2024 that did reduce border crossings. But not to this level (whatever the real number is). Border security was a top issue for Americans going in the election. And whenever polled, a large majority wanted a “stronger” border. This border issue is a win for Trump.

I really don’t get why Biden/Harris didn’t do more 2-3 years ago. It might have made the difference in the election.

Agree 100%. This is like arguing against biological men in sports. It's an overwhelming majority on 1 side. For whatever reason just because 1 side is doing something, it doesn't mean take the opposite side. Just crazy to me.
