Nobody supports violence but many support those who were falsely charged when we had just seen a couple of years of violent protests and rioting go unpunished. I'm sorry mostly peaceful protests.

    LOL

You don't read much, do you?

(and this isn't even the sum of arrests from BLM, as it's dated August, 2021.)

Happy to help you stay informed!

The Justice Department targeted more than 300 protesters by charging them with federal crimes for their roles during the civil unrest last summer after the murder of George Floyd, according to a new report from The Movement for Black Lives, a coalition of Black advocacy groups.

The report found that more than 90% of federal cases against Black Lives Matter protesters could have been charged in state court – and that in 88% of those cases, the federal charges carried more severe penalties than similar state charges.

That 37 trillion will probably be around $47 trillion by the time Trump is done. What string of non alphanumeric characters does that deserve?

Same as Doh! Biden's, if that's the way it goes, and we have just as little (dick) to show for it, or less, or even only marginal improvement.

But at least one of exactly 2 groups is nutting up and daring to try something new and different, while the other squels like stuck pigs at the audacity of trying something new/ different, and claims righteous indignation at the revolutionary concept of transparency and seeking to drastically cut back on waste, fraud, abuse, and grotesque corruption.

The other just screams "NO @#$$&%N WAY MAN!! WE NEED TO KEEP SPENDING LIKE DRINK @#$%& SAILORS RIGHT INTO RUIN!!!! (our Chicom puppet masters demand it)!"

Perhaps you should put this superior intellect of yours to good use instead of wasting it on a college sports message board.

    Great post.
There are a handful of mother-brain, mega-mind types who we are blessed to have in our TH presence…
We’re talking zero humility types in here…it makes for decent entertainment.

    As Fonzie would say, 'correctomundo'.
To be fair, what Trump is doing may or may not work, way too early to tell. But, if cutting costs and waste leads to a way forward to make these agencies work more efficiently rather than just blindly throwing money at them, then that would be considered a win. Base Line Budgeting is the worst thing about our government.
I will say if he did it without looking at tax cuts as well, then that 37 trillion could drop down below 30 at the end of his term. That's the right direction.

The same reason they went from gay marriage straight to marrying farm animals. That’s just how they roll. However they’re right about one thing, transgenders in sports isn’t a hill democrats should die on. The economy, Ukraine, the transfer of wealth to the rich, and the consolidation of power to the executive branch are.

This is a grotesque and utterly dishonest representation of Democratic concerns.

Yup, big increases in defense spending coming while DOGE illegally scrapes for pennies and dimes out of the budget:

Republicans advance plans to raise military spending by at least $100B amid concerns budget cuts could affect veterans

Senate Republicans release budget plan with $150B more for defense - Breaking Defense

One has to wonder what would happen if Trump were President during WWll. It would probably go like this:

Trump to Poland: “There’s no way you can win so it makes sense to just become part of the German empire.”

Trump to Churchill: “The only way we’re going to help you is if you give us exclusive rights to 50% of your coal resources.”

Trump to Hitler: “What you’re doing is genius, you’re a very smart man. By the way, where do you get your ovens because we have a Mexican problem here.”

If you don't support the "far left" that pushes the trans agenda, then just say so. Fine, no problem. If you support the "far left" transgen, then present your thoughts about that issue. Fine, no problem - we may continue discussion of the subject at hand. However, the attempt to conflate and equivocate by comparison to another misstated/spun narrative of the right smacks of diversion and intellectual dishonesty - if not a concession on the issue being discussed.

What are the numbers comparing second term Presidents' polling? That's the real comparison to be made. Trump is not the "shiny NEW" President who enjoys the true 100 days honeymoon, because, well, he's not new. The MSM has been touting these stats as if in a vacuum and it's really disingenuous to the extreme. Putting aside there are other polls that show approval ratings higher (who cares, right?), the polling on the issues and what is being done show that Trump's platform is actually quite popular - even while his personal numbers are admittedly quite low.

I’m not so sure about that. It’s the republicans who made transgenders in sports a major issue when it’s more an issue for the NCAA but has become a Republican dog whistle issue that doesn’t affect Americans in general.
