Trump and Musk's "accomplishments," are built on sand, and the tide's coming in.

"President Donald Trump and Elon Musk have been rapidly firing federal workers with little consideration for which ones are critical to government functioning. So now, the Energy Department is scrambling to rehire people abruptly let go from the National Nuclear Security Administration. The Federal Aviation Administration is struggling to explain why 400 staffers were let go mere days after one of the deadliest airplane crashes in U.S. history. And the Agriculture Department is attempting to bring back people fired despite being part of the effort to stop avian flu, which has decimated chicken farms and sent egg prices soaring."

    That was a witty post.

How do you feel about the fact that the Republican Senate Intelligence Committee determined that the 2016 Trump campaign colluded with Russia?

Does it make you feel good to support a traitor?

    Enjoy your victory lap!

Just remember not to KEEP going in circles, those poll numbers have a really bad habit of showing up when you least expect it and tripping you when you focus too much on the scoreboard as you run - especially when you are only 25 meters out of the blocks and have been casually tossing hand grenades into the crowd while your bald headed Nazi buddy laughs in the next lane. Remember: it's a marathon!

Also: Let me know when Trump has figured out that "really easy" Ukrainian peace deal he promised on Day 1.

With all the flailing about and dire pronouncements, it looks like he's attempting to twist arms, but he's the one who looks like an actual pretzel.

Nubio and his freshman negotiating team aren't giving anyone much confidence either. Maybe we can get Jon Voigt to reprise his role in Enemy of the State for the team or put crazy Mel Gibson into the mix and do a madman theory or something.

Otherwise I understand the Russians were not only eating the American team's lunch but actually have been screwing their wives for the last 3 weeks, in secret apparently, prior to ACTUAL negotiations starting. "It's a time honored Russian tradition" the team was told.

Of course we've already handed over our country to Russia, so Ukraine shouldn't pose much of a challenge - unless of course you give up every bit of leverage before you actually GET to negotiations.

I'm sure if the opening offer of handing over Europe, disbanding NATO, making the US a vassal state, and having Russia absorb Ukraine isn't enough, we could probably throw in our American Express "It's Actually Made of Gold" Card we keep at Fort Knox so the Russians will sue for peace!

If ALL ELSE FAILS we can probably offer the time-honored American fake way of dealing with the Russians - offer them a steel cage death match in Madison Square Garden and drag Hulk Hogan out of retirement to face their re-animated Nikolai Volkoff for all the marbles!

That might be MORE REAL to most Americans than Trump trying to negotiate with a starving Polar bear, but personally I think the entertainment value is in the latter - watching this over the hill realty TV star and 34 time felon become a pile of bear feces is sure to be gripping process.

A rendering and tearing and screaming process.... a bloody mess of a process!

It's 30 days in and Trump's approval ratings have dropped quicker than any other president since pollsters started polling for that metric.
    Trump’s honeymoon is over

I would also add that once Trump's policies have an actual impact on the economy his ratings will drop much further.

I don't think they care about poll ratings at this point. Too drunk with power they never intend to cede.

They probably don't but Trump is 78 and to me looks about done and the cult dies with him. Elon can't govern without him.

I don't think anyone is scared of the eyeliner Ersatzführer who is into fine Corinthian leather couches and Astroglide.

I don't think the cult dies with him. There will a scramble to assume the mantle and the mob that loves him isn't going anywhere.
