If the NBA or NFL had 3 separate fights in 9 seconds, every player involved would be called a thug. Must be nice to get away with doing this in hockey.
Actually, there are several NHL players fans would consider thugs with number one probably being Boston’s Brad Marchand. You obviously know nothing about hockey except for the fact the league is more than 95% white and I’m sure that is upsetting to you. My advice is to simply don’t watch. But hey, you actuallymay be on to something for those sports that continue to lose millions of dollars annually. Imagine, for example, how well the WNBA would do if they allowed fighting. If so, I’m sure they wouldn’t lose $40M like they did last season.
I read a recent study that looked at the health care systems of 11 high income countries. Canada was rated 10th. The USA was rated 11th by a huge margin. USA health care was far and away more expensive than in other countries and had the worst health outcomes. As to #10 Canada, despite its shortfalls, it should be noted that 2/3rds of its people supplement the national health care with private insurance.

We handled the anthem thing with way more class though. Congrats to the four Lightning guys on Canada's roster, as for the rest of them and their fans... Enjoy your 40 year Stanley Cup drought hosers.
It was a really good game. Maybe if Canada gets competent at basketball the NBA could try something interesting.
