Let me start: when your link claims that somebody was given "status" that means that they are legal immigrants. Now, your link then calls them illegal immigrants, but that is not possible when somebody has "status."

Let us know if that went over your head. If you eventually get this, I am happy to also try to explain irony to you, as you clearly don't know what that is either.

No, they aren't. Labeling the law a "loophole" is nothing more than framing for a law that you don't like. If somebody is legally residing in the country based upon the law, they aren't illegal immigrants.

If given asylum, it does not matter at all how they crossed into this country. At that point they are not illegal in any way.

 

An immigrant surrendering to an ICE Agent and requesting asylum is a LEGAL way to enter the US. You may not line it, but it's the law. Immigrants granted Temporary Protected Status or other LEGAL status top remain in the country LEGALLY should not be called illegal immigrants. Doing so would be a lie and inaccurate.

Immigrants here LEGALLY can be eligible for some benefits. Trump's EO changes nothing.

Undocumented immigrants can receive life saving medical care. And some undocumented kids may be eligible for food at school. I don't think Trump’s EO can overturn EMTALA, which say hospitals must treat all patients in medical emergencies, but it could potentially stop kids from getting fed. Go celebrate that, MAGA. Like I said before, the cruelty isn't a bug. It's a feature.
