The only way they could get DT to approve relief for fire victims in California was to show dt how many votes he got in the impacted areas. Further proof of what a disgusting human he truly is

'No empathy': Ex-Trump officials give alarming details of his disaster relief efforts - Raw Story

In an interview with E&E News, Mark Harvey, Trump’s one-time senior director for resilience policy on the National Security Council staff, revealed that the former president heavily resisted signing off on disaster aid to wildfire-afflicted California because it had voted heavily against him in the 2016 presidential election.

Harvey says he finally convinced Trump to authorize disaster relief to the state one time by pulling up voting results showing a significant concentration of Republican voters in Orange County. “We went as far as looking up how many votes he got in those impacted areas... to show him these are people who voted for you,” Harvey explained.

Harvey's account was backed up by fellow former Trump official Olivia Troye, who revealed that she often had to go to Vice President Mike Pence to get Trump to fulfill his basic duty to provide help to Americans struggling in the aftermath of a natural disaster.
She also warned that this would only be worse in a second Trump term where there wouldn't be anyone like her or Harvey to curb Trump's worst impulses.

"It’s not going to be about that American voter out there who isn’t even really paying attention to politics, and their house is gone, and the president of the United States is judging them for how they voted, and they didn’t even vote," she said.

What a great precedent to set. You only get help if the potus you voted for is in office. Perhaps CA should just keep all that $$ they send to the fed since the pay more in than they get back. Of course there will be suits filed claiming this in unconstitutional, but the current scotus may back him up, who knows? That goes to the very heart of our revolution: taxation without representation. Way to go Emperor!

Interesting, so multiple members of his administration stated this with their names on the record, and your first reaction is about "libs." So your argument is that he appointed a bunch of "libs?"

he had no idea who to appoint in 2016 and took the advice of Pubs who were not wanting him to succeed(something he openly admits)

Interesting, so he had "no idea who to appoint" but ran for President anyway. That seems a bit...irresponsible.

Regardless, hasn't he been pretty open about being almost completely transactional with this stuff in public? Other than the cognitive dissonance it might cause, what reason do you have to doubt multiple members of his administration reporting something pretty similar to what he says in public?

He took the advice of Pubs who thought that competence mattered. This time around he is using the single litmus test of absolute loyalty which will always trump competence (pun intended).

It is funny that when faced with the slightest bit of logical argument, you retreat to this. Almost like you know how ridiculous you sound when trying to engage, so you make sure to run away at the first opportunity to do so.

I am assuming that everyone realizes this is discussing something that happened in the first Trump term, not the recent fires in CA.

To me this is obviously funny. But what's hilarious are the other MAGAs; the ones who know better than the playground responses likes this ........ but who think that if they just ignore what we're seeing, essentially scroll past real life, then they can just pretend it doesn't exist and they just voted for Trump's policies or something.

Sorry guys, it exists!! Take it all in, you're part of it!!! Make Russia Great Again!

Yes. President Cucky is a different person know. Much more centrist and empathetic to the needs of regions that didn’t vote for him.
