As opposed to the guy who will have the least qualified cabinet in history. Trump has had more nominees for cabinet and cabinet level positions confirmed on strictly party line votes Patel being the most recent with a 51-49 confirmation vote margin. In contrast Christopher Wray Trump's nominee for Director of the FBI in his last administration was confirmed by a 92-5 vote margin.

Although it's completely irrelevant Trump couldn't even post the correct vote total, it was 51-49 not 51-47, but I guess he didn't count Collins and Murkowski since they were Republicans who voted against confirmation.

President Donald Trump’s nominee to be FBI Director, Kash Patel, was paid $25,000 by a Russian filmmaker with connections to the Kremlin, The Washington Post reports.

Documents obtained by the paper reveal that Patel was paid by Global Tree Pictures, a film company owned by Igor Lopatonok, a Russian national who also holds U.S. citizenship.


Lopatanok has produced shows pushing U.S. “deep state” conspiracy theories and views skeptical of the West, which are also relentlessly promoted by the Kremlin, a financial disclosure form submitted by Patel as part of his confirmation process revealed.
