Former Georgia Quarterback Carson Beck's Cars Stolen in South Florida I have to admit that the fact that I found joy in this makes me a petty and small person at times. On Thursday morning, it was reported that Beck had two vehicles stolen in the middle of the night in South Florida. His girlfriend Hanna Cavinder also had an SUV stolen but it has since been found. Authorities are still looking for Beck's Lamborghini and Mercedes.
He shouldn't have moved to a high crime red state like Florida, especially to a city with a "soft on crime" Republican mayor like Miami.
I'm probably also a petty and small person. If it were not for NIL payments it would have never happened given that virtually no college quarterbacks would have been able to purchase a Lamborghini and Mercedes in the days prior to NIL although decades ago there was a rumor that one former Gator quarterback was able to lease a new Dodge Charger every year at a ridiculously low price from a Tampa car dealer who also a Gator booster.
It's good to see that these players are investing their NIL money wisely in assets that do not depreciate by over 20% each year.
We have an overrated QB from hated rival GA, who by all accounts mailed it in and abandoned his dawggie teammates after his injury and headed to CA to rehab, and then bails to hated Rival Miami for more coin, and gets his Lamborghini and Mercedes stolen. what’s not to like?
Will I be petty or small to enjoy watching him play in front of 30,000 fans rather the 90,000+ he played in front of at Fred Sanford Stadium?
He took the money, probably more than he would have gotten with his first NFL contract, so it is hard to blame him for going to scum.
I know for a fact I will enjoy watching him throw interceptions in front of 30,000 people - if that turns out to be his fate.
I’d say the 30,000 is very high probability. The interceptions will be up to him and his OL. He doesn’t seem to like pressure very much
