That’s a good job of firing the machine up after the game started. Good win Gators!

FYI they expect to make a call early tomorrow regarding the famu game to save them the two hour drive if the weather isn’t going to break long enough for a game.

Didn't see the game as I was at the basketball game.

    How did Barlow look?

I know that I could go back and look at the thread but often that doesn't tell the whole story.

He’s got work to do-flies open too early-command issues with shotgun release point IMHO.

It was good that we were able to see Barlow and King pitch last night. As expected King had a lot of family members and friends there to see him pitch.

Finding reliable starters for midweek games takes a while, IMO. Last year we did not do well in midweek games. I know some think they don't matter, but to me ALL games matter - just some more than other! :)

I'm happy to beat the midweek game dead horse.

That point is 100% correct, but as we have seen, SEC games get them into the post-season, midweek games exist to prepare them win SEC games and post-season games. Most of the midweek, and early season weekend, games are against decent competition and the ability to beat them MIGHT be an important reflection of the team's overall performance. Every year, we get some harsh complaints about taking losses to JU or Stetson or others that actually help build a CWS level team. I'm one of the people willing to trade midweek losses for developing young pitchers who learn to burn innings in Omaha.
