Since at this point most of the so called "friends of the U.S." are really just a bunch of leeches. Trump is hated because he threatens the "Western" Globalist Elite, the ones who don't even care about their own people and just want to make everyone a "Citizen of the World". These people want to see their own countries and their own cultures destroyed in the name of Globalism.

Screw globalism. I like countries. I like cultures. I like regionalism. I like different areas of the world being distinct and not just part of one big mass elite class who wants to control everyone. Every area of the world doesn't need to be a melting pot. I want to nothing to do with being a "Citizen of the World". I am a citizen of the United States of America dammit.

They hate Trump because they know he is succeeding at hurting their goals of global domination.

I personally would love to see a complete withdrawal with NATO. People here complain that the infrastructure in Europe is much better than here in the U.S. Why do you think that is? Because they don't have to pay for hardly any of their national security. Imagine how much improvement we could have in infrastructure by not having to Canada and Europe. We would see how quickly some of their infrastructure would go downhill when they have to spend billions of dollars each on national security instead of purely domestic issues.

You don't have to fully trust Russia and China to have an alliance with them. But at least they are countries that understand and respect their culture. Russia is hated because they won't sacrifice their people and their culture, while the rest of Europe has all but committed cultural su**ide by allowing the invasion of North Africans and Middle Easterners.

At least with an alliance with Russia and China, you make it clear they are paying their far share. And you can easily set certain conditions of the alliance. But honestly, I think it's time for the U.S. to seriously review who we align ourselves with going forward.

Europe is dying. Canada is dying. The U.S. needs to realize how much the world is changing and stay with that change.

I'm just going to say this, and delete away Mods if you have to.

But I REALLY wish we could round people like you up and. . . nah, screw the camps. More bulldozers, bullets and backhoes!

Right back at you. I would be more than happy to round up every liberal in the U.S. and send them to their communist/socialist dream states of Cuba, Venezuela, Iran and North Korea, where the country owns everything and all private ownership (what you hate so much) is outlawed. Where there is no "inequality" (because you hate that some people are more successful and better off than others and that will always happen) because everyone is equal (and dirt poor BTW).

I would be more than happy to bring in Conservative Immigrations from Asia, South America, Canada and Europe, those who appreciate the opportunity America allows them and don't come here thinking America owes them anything.

Do that, round all of you up and deport you all immediately. Screw the camps, get all of you liberals out of the country. And if you resist the deportation, well, as you yourself mentioned (so Mods, know CHF said this, not me), well other options are available. I would even choose the humane ones, putting you all to work in work camps.

We're already in an alliance with Russia to influence our elections. At least when Trump is running and willing to receive their support.

At least Russia isn't like Canada and throwing a massive temper tantrum because the U.S. actually wants the U.S. and Canada to be more equal partners. Canada has gotten the better end of the deal for decades.

It's time to remind Canada who daddy is, and for them, that is the U.S. Canada exists because the U.S. allows it to exist.

Honestly, if Canada continues their temper tantrum, all Trump has to do is one thing.

Effective Immediately, the U.S. is ending all military support and defense of Canada. China, Russia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, India, any of you all want Canada. Have at it. We'll be on the sidelines.

Considering the resources in Canada, some country would want it. And if any of those countries attacked Canada, the war would be over in months, a year or two tops, without U.S. support. So Canadians, keep running your mouth. You're writing checks you can't cash. Keep doing it and in a few years you may be speaking Chinese.

Honestly, I think we can have a better alliance long term with Russia and China than with Canada. Yes we would have to keep our eyes on them, but that would be a good thing. The U.S. lets its guard down too much with Europe and Canada and it's caused a lot of the issues we're in today.

Donald Trump is an old man who has leveraged his patronage by Putin and notoriety as tabloid and TV fodder in a lame attempt to rewrite his personal history of extreme failure into a last ditch effort to be remembered for succeeding.

Unfortunately, he's 78 years old and not in great health, so his Thousand Year Reich probably is just about over. So what is next? J.D. mascara Vance? Don Jr. the cokehead? Elon, who isn't a U.S. citizen?

Sure they are going to attempt to wreck the place for the benefit of the oligarchs, and strongmen, but the only Golden Age the MAGA diehards are likely to see is the trickle down of Trump's golden incontinence before he pushes off to MAGA Valhalla (rumored to possibly be somewhere in Greenland).

Now that the average independent swing voter has seen what the Trump administration upon high has to offer, even before the avalanche reaches the village, the market, and the individual home, it is clearly not focusing on what they were hoping for - actual answers to their problems like grocery bills, lack of opportunity, etc. When the avalanche hits, the error of their decision will be apparent, if there is still a recourse left at that point to undo the damage.

That he is tearing down the administrative state that these same Americans depend on that started under the New Deal, which brought us out of the worst Depression we as a country had ever seen, will be theirs to lament.

When it is not there anymore, the wealthy have their permanent tax cuts, all the good jobs will be gone as the corporate state takes over and Wal-Mart-izes the country, no health insurance, no vacation benefits, etc. capitalism will have reached the end state it always was going towards - making the average man a serf of his new overlord. I'd like to say you'll be able to pay your taxes with chickens, but with the de-emphasis on science, they probably will be extinct due to bird flu by then. No eggs for you!

Socialism will then have a very fertile ground to sprout, when we get there.

Oh, look, how quaint. This guys thinks Trump represent the people.

No, he represents the tech oligarchs who want to sell the government AI software to shrink the administrative state while they code in the racism, hate, and bigotry. He also represents the mafia state where laws don't matter, only power. And finally, the actual oligarchs who benefit from his tax cuts the average citizen gets to put on his back.

You don't want to be a "Citizen of the World"! Man what a load of shit! "Globalism" and global trade has been here for thousands of years, but we didn't all turn into Greeks because our ancestors traded with them. Technology and business processes are what primarily get spread, not ideology.

Your clear lack of ignorance about NATO is astonishing. It kept the peace up until today after World War 2. Those same NATO allies came to OUR aid during 9/11, hardly freeloaders - but yes - we've been backstopping their social democracy and liberal governments with our troops during that long peaceful Pax Americana that is now ending as our internal weakness called MAGA look towards autocracy to give them confidence to wake up in the morning.

Yes, Jose the lawnmower guy, is already up and mowing his hard-working heart out to replace them. That they HIRED him because they can't be bothered to start or even maintain a lawnmower, yet alone get sweat, dirt, blood, or feces on their dainty hands on the jobs Jose's friends work at seems lost on them.

What it means we will go through global instability as a unipolar world turns back in regional powers and the wars to come as they rapid expand their spheres of influence that will inevitably crash into each other, is also lost on them.

Until that is, their kids get to put the fires out.

Maybe this is only the natural way things are, but when their son Billy Bob gets a suicide drone up his ass, I doubt the light will even come on that they put Billy Bob in that bad position.

But again, Billy Bob WAS replaced, in this case as is usual, by a smarter person with a headset and joystick via the "bravery of staying out of range".

Hopefully this smarter person will also have a soul, unlike Billy Bob's parents, and a culture that we can admire from afar.

MAGA is the ultimate oxymoron. Trump's movement should be called Russia and China First, America Second.

Nothing truer than this quote from 1964:

Liberalism is the ideology of Western suicide. When once this initial and final sentence is understood, everything about liberalism - the beliefs, emotions and values associated with it, the nature of its enchantment, its practical record, its future - falls into place.

Do you really think that Russia is just Russians and their one culture? That's rich because Russia has 21 ethnic republics and over 190 ethnic cultural groups.

Russia is the most culturally diverse country in the world by far.

Seems you have diarrhea of the mouth and constipation of the brain...

    Debunked many times.

As usual the opposite of what you say is closer to the truth. The US started a war to get rid of Putin. And as grand strategist Gregory R. Copley has noted, Xi released Covid to get rid of Trump

Russia only sacrifices the culture of 20 ethnic republics and 189 ethnic cultural groups to present a united front to the world, as it steamrolls over its neighboring countries, ostensibly to improve them and make them more to Moscow's liking. (Question: why does Ukraine NOT want to be improved and made into Moscow's image?)

I would say that our undereducated friend is shooting off his mouth when his brain's not loaded.

I believe Iran is considered a theocratic republic. And while the government does own or control certain aspects of the economy, can’t that be said of Russia and China?

You most certainly are not alone and I appreciate your honesty. Wish more MAGAs would come out say this is what they actually want. Too many of them hide their true feelings.
