actually I'm an optimist who believes America's best is in front of it if we repel the ideas of the red hat bozos. Sounds like you are the doomer since you have stated we are on the decline and we should retreat like cowards

You are a domestic threat if that is what you truely believe. Russia is not our "friend" and never will be unless they have major reforms to their government. We dont have the same goals or values.

I agree the Jews are not innocent and Israel isnt our "friend" as much as some think either. We are being used by people because we have $ and power.

Cutting waste and contractors budgets are good, but arbitrary cuts like 50% would absolutely be devastating to the US and our allies. Over 50-60% of that 850B goes to contractors, the DoD never sees it. We would immediately not be considered a super power and a shell of its former self, an empire in decline like the old UK. Could they cut 10-20% and reform gov acquistions, sure. But a 50% reduction would ironically hurt the US more than China and Russia, and alot of military areas of the country are in red states/districts.

Of course, he is. But at what cost? Reduction in military strength? Throwing Ukraine under the bus? Who knows what those two are cooking up on those phone calls?

    Somewhere in Time
Every day it is apparent this administration is being run from Moscow.

Until folks start seeing it in those terms, we are in trouble.

We threw Ukraine under the bus years ago when we ordained it would have to function as our proxy. At this point capitulation is the only option for Ukraine in order to save what remains of its country.

Yes we must all surrender to Russia, the strongest military power ever to exist, which cannot take territory from a weak neighbor. Surrender is the only option!!!

found the guy that ran France in ww2

Are you saying we started the conflict? Or just exploited it?

You want us to fade into the background so China can become the world’s dominant power and EU has to fill the void left behind by our leadership. That’s all you are suggesting so far. Weakness only makes Americans lives worse. However I’m not surprised as your ilk don’t care about next generation. You want to “get yours” and that’s all that matters.

Aren’t you the guy who keeps prattling about how weak Russia is ? Either Putin is Hitler or Pee Wee Herman. You can’t have it both ways.

China is racing ahead of us. How do you propose to stop it and would it be a good idea ?

I’m not having it both ways. There’s no scenario where we should capitulate in the least to an extremely weak country like Russia. They have nukes so we cannot attack them directly. But we can stop them with fractional effort as demonstrated in Ukraine. I know this is hard for you card carrying kremlin supporters to understand

An extremely weak Russia is kicking our great proxy’s ass an inoculating itself against all of our wonder weapons.
