Very impressive win for the Gators. Shumaker continues to impress. It's interesting that Otis, Walsh & Brown are struggling some at the plate and the team just keeps rolling. Keagan is much improved over last year and she was a great freshman. She looks in better shape, more controlled, more confident. And she hit 70+ mph multiple times. Holtorf made a couple of smooth plays at SS and Falby is squaring up more often, which helps her game. This is a team that's going to be hard to beat. Can't wait to see Oxley pitch.
If Brown keeps this up she's going to play herself out of the batting lineup. Seems like she's in her head a bit at the moment. As mentioned above, this team is nowhere near its potential yet and they're still scoring in bunches. If they start clicking with everyone healthy, watch out
I know. I was just saying they were doing the radio audio paired with the tv... not a separate tv broadcast. If that makes sense
Softball is a combination of talent and mental toughness. The Gators weren't fired up for Providence, although Olivia Miller was pumped for her first start in the circle and pitched well. But they knew they were the better team and just sort of mailed it in. But for Duke, they were totally focused and showed their true dominance. This is a special team and we're not even clicking on all cylinders yet.
Probably some truth in there but we also sat 3 seniors for most of the game which I liked to see. These are the games to do that and get players important experience for later.
O…if you please..keep evaluating our pitching staff. Your views are much better than mine. Others who have some expertise, please add your thoughts. I like that we have a major star in an our pitching coach, just as we have a superstar hitting coach. Keagan is already showing superstar toughness, and abilities. All our other pitchers are pushing to be her battery mate when we hit the Sec grind. Please continue evaluating..Die…you too, please. Thanks Stevo
