Read the article. Okay. As long as in the case of our Defense, we are coordinated on the same page and effective, so be it. But for Napier and the program, it has to work. At the behest of the players on D last season, simpler turned out to be much better.

 

Next coaching position under consideration:

Football inflation and deflation to suit playing QB.
Resume experience required: Friend of Tom Brady, Tire Repair, Hot Air Balloons.

Man...times have changed so much it's driving me nutz. Miami annoys the crap out of me. I wonder what the back story is with that move? More $, he likes Crystal balls coaching style? His office isn't big enough? His momma lives in Miamuh. Maybe he likes Carson Becks girlfriend too.

As 244 mentions Mal - Personality conflict between Roberts and Harris. This sucks.

 

Should have been managed. I'm of the opinion Napier misses a lot. It took our D going to his office and asking for a simpler system to turn it around last season. Not sure the guy is sufficiently aware. Maybe a Co DC can rescue us. Crucify me.

 

Fair points Die, but we don't know the details. Hey, Saban had a revolving door of assistant coaches, of course, his program was in such great shape, many seasons those changes did not have disastrous consequences. I am certainly disappointed and concerned.

 

I believe the feeling with Saban was, he moved people out then made good hires.

 

He also had a championship pedigree so not even close to comparable with Napier’s revolving door.

 

Is the $750k Director of Motivation & nachos testing still on staff?

 

Good question. Not sure if his salary changed but I would still ask, why would any program need a DoPR? Is not a HC and Assistants capable of that role?

There are so many people in Napier's support staff that they have to wear name tags so Napier can see who they are.
