These guys are too contemporary for Trump's tastes. I'm telling you its going to be 80s Broadway show tunes and classic ballads by Peggy Lee. He's on record as saying his favorite song is "Is That All There Is?" Trump has massive contempt for the chuds and jughooters who make up much of his voting base! Not classy!
All these boards serve at the leisure of the President- Biden set the precedent- now that the shoe is on the other foot you libs are all in a dither
What a row of art and culture. Kennedy Center will be a hoe down for 4 years. LOL. This is a less sweet version of the Beverly Hillbillies.
Please link the reference you refer to regarding any Biden precedent. Did you simply just make it up? "The Kennedy Center's Board has been bipartisan since its inception, according to a statement released last week from the organization. "Per the Center’s governance established by Congress in 1958, the chair of the board of trustees is appointed by the Center’s board members," the statement reads. "There is nothing in the Center’s statute that would prevent a new administration from replacing board members; however, this would be the first time such action has been taken with the Kennedy Center’s board." There is so much disinformation that I'm certain any mod would not wish to add to that pile of crap, so kindly link for us.
It came from Trump appointing his unqualified lackeys on the way out the door to various boards (Sean Spicer was hilariously appointed Kennedy board member as you may recall). So Biden of course removed them, and the court affirmed Biden had that authority. I guess that was the “precedent” Biden set. Ignore all the bad faith. Edit: according to the link below Spicey was apointed to a Navy Visitor board, for some reason I thought it was Kennedy. But I think that is the “precedent” that was used here against the Kennedy Center.
What’s your point? And from your post #34, trump served before Biden. “ was appointed by Trump in 2019 to the Naval Academy Board of Visitors. Vought’s appointment to that same board came in December, 2020, part of a string of controversial, lame-duck appointments that installed Trump allies like Hope Hicks, Ric Grenell and Kellyanne Conway in board or council positions overseeing Fulbright scholarships, the United States Holocaust Memorial and the U.S. Air Force Academy, respectively.”
