Seems like the felon made some serious headway on this while watching the Super Bowl.

Having to ration eggs reminds of the first time we had this cuck as president and we had to ration toilet paper.

    Don’t worry I’m sure it’s all just transitory…

I'm sure he'll get right on eggs and gas prices as soon as he has Gaza sorted out. And Ukraine, of course.

Maybe his tweet was just a typo. Instead of saying "On day one, I'll slash prices," he meant to say "one day, I'll slash prices." :emoji_thinking:

January information. Pain is not slowing down. February will be interesting to see. When egg prices come down, we’ll see how the grocery bills look.

Well at least they backed off tariffs w/Mexico and Canada, otherwise the fruits and veggies bar would be right with the surging meat/poultry/ eggs bar (lots of fruits and veggies sourced from Mexico). Canada trade spat would be more about dairy and cheese.

Not shocked since this is coming from you, but I think someone has to point out the rise well before Trump even took office... Unless somehow it was Trump who caused egg prices to jump before he took office Jan 20th?

Anyhow, you can't even put this on Biden. If you were honest, you would acknowledge the severe outbreak of avian influenza causing a massive shortage of eggs.

Soon this will turn around. Pretty confident in that.

The grocery prices inflation as a whole is more in line with 2-3%, but prices will never go deflationary. The post Covid prices have been set.

Hen culling from bird flu will subside… then this thread will be flooding with “dumb libbies and winning”

Well the bird flu is most likely an example of…

    wait for it…

    wait for it…

    transitory inflation!!

    Just as it was
in ‘22. Know what wouldn’t be an example of transitory inflation? Tariffs.

My rent for my warehouse chickens is two dozen a week. This is prime time for egg laying in Florida. It drops about in half during the summer.

Don’t worry Trump has a plan to cut prices and they will present it in two weeks. It will be a beautiful plan, a plan like no one has ever seen before.

The honest part is that the President of the United States has zero impact on egg prices unless he impacts them with tariffs. HOWEVER, Donald Trump ran on the promise of lowering prices on DAY 1. Either that was a big fat lie or he is failing terribly. Either one is fodder for discussion. I am sorry that hurts your fragile exterior.

Of course the Dems would blame Trump for the bird flu just like Covid.

    Dems "blamed Trump for Covid?"

That's news to me and I was paying pretty close attention.

Can you substantiate that in any way, or are you just saying things that make you feel good, but are not remotely true? Try to bear in mind - a great many people, usually not the Trump voters tbh, are endeavoring to return truth to our discussions and endeavors.

So could you please join us? Either show us how that statement is true, retract it, or leave it out there and openly state that you just like saying things that are not true.

    Thanks!!

Went shopping this morning and I bought a box of Eggland's Best for $8.99 ($4.50 a dozen). The store brand was $8.29. My guess is that all sizes of the Eggland's Best will be sold out by early this afternoon.

Actually the economists I listen to say tariff is will cause a one time bump but won’t keep increasing inflation.
