Why is that hard to believe? Our defense has been atrocious outside of the last 4 games last year. Seems Billy doesn’t exactly spend the time necessary to know what’s what on that side of the ball.

I doubt we have been enlightened more than coaches on the inside. Thats pretty ridiculous.

It seems Roberts is responsible for our good defense as it had been horrible for years until he took over. I guess it's possible that they decided instead of having a Kumbaya party they would rather be good at defense.

Hard to believe Napier being such a culture guy would bring in a reported difficult guy to work with.

Hate to say it, but recruits aren't happy. I think we lose some. Maybe even to sCum. It is what it is in today's environment. Personally, I'll be glad to keep the real Gators. Kids that will bleed orange and blue no matter who coaches them.

Love kids that bleed orange and blue but dedication and trust go both ways. If kids (Onis?) were recruited because they thought they were going to bleed for Harris when it was known inside that Harris was moving on, how do you fault the kids?

Really hope (my) first impressions are wrong here. Doesn’t fit the culture narrative I have bought into for the current Gator leadership.

Definitely possible I’m not in the meetings. I’m hoping for the best.

Franklin is going hard. He’s returning a lot of players and they tasted the playoffs. Will be interesting to watch their season.

It's all or nothing because that's an experienced team that will be going pro next year.

I’ve heard basically the opposite. The same podcaster(s) that mentioned Harris wanted out starting months ago stated after Harris’s move that so far none of the players and new recruits currently already enrolled and on campus are considering leaving. This excludes Onis who is not enrolled. But Onis wasn’t really considering Miami at all so he’s not likely following Harris there (but could opt to go elsewhere).

most likely has an impact on Waters in the class of 2026 cuz he is already seriously looking at Miami.

Not many kids bleed orange and blue in today’s environment. They bleed the color of money, green.

Depends on who we hire for the CB job. Billy hiring two co-DCs as Safety and LB coaches that had less coaching experience than Harris likely did not sit well IMO. We can bring in a great coach that is a good recruiter. Billy just needs to move more quickly in hiring

Harris has coached 5 different teams in 5 years, and any player with half a brain would not go to Miami to play for him, as you can not trust he will be there.

Cancer? If that is what cancer looks like, we need a double dose!

The truth is more likely that Roberts is very demanding, as all good coaches are, and Harris got his little feelings hurt. Saban would have made him cry. If a coach can't handle pressure, Florida is the wrong place to be.
