Remember this guy? The Pizzagate right wing conspiracy nut meets an unsurprising end. 5 years out of prison for the infamous Comet Pizza incident, this week he was apparently killed by police when he pulled a gun at a traffic stop as one of the officers tried to run him on a probation violation. From what I read about this, the cops gave him plenty of opportunities to drop the gun too. He got a white guy pass and still got shot, at least he went out doing what he loved most, being dumb as hell.
The guy obviously had more than a few screws loose, that’s why you have to blame the people pushing that insanity on them. In this case (as is often the case) Alex Jones would have had his share of blame if this guy killed anybody. Fortunately the only damage as I recall was him shooting up a door. Though it obviously would have been traumatic for the business owners and any patrons that were there…
He was probably feeling good and riding high on this wave of “the laws don’t apply to us” feeling that swept the nation since Jan 20th… can’t wait to see the body cam video
I recall the pizzagate incident. Apparently he actually believed that children were being held and molested in the (actually nonexistent) basement of the restaurant and his statement when he was originally arrested was something to the effect that he drove from North Carolina to DC to "save the children".
Another victim of right wing craziness. It’s a never ending list of devastation and destruction from them.
