What's worse, the corrupt arrangement of buying Teslas from Trump's biggest donor, or a civilian government department wanting armored vehicles? Its tough to choose!

Easy to afford if we just cut food stamps (SNAP) for 200,000 kids which is about the same amount. What's the big deal? They can work at McDonalds.

Nothing sketchy about that at all. I wonder what they have in mind to do with them? Crackdowns on US citizens if there are protests and civil unrest?

I kinda wonder how all the dorks that bought them thinking they were cool or anti-establishment feel about them being associated with being government / cop cars in the future.

The funny thing about this is they originally said Tesla’s and then edited to “EV’s” when they were caught.

    Bottom of a pint glass
Is that funnier or is it funnier the fact that gen 1 Cybertrucks are notoriously unreliable?

At least we know if a state department employee wants to turn it into a car bomb with fireworks and gasoline it wont do too much damage

Yet I'm sure some of them are still bitching about Hunter, Burisma, and all the other " Biden crime family" bs.

Any government contract with a Musk company should receive extra scrutiny before being signed to make sure it is the best deal for the US.

Good feedback. Obviously a key date if true as all reported. Thank goodness. That would have been surprisingly brazen even for Dear Leader.

That’s probably 3.5 - 4k vehicles with maint costs and charging stations. Still the question of why so many and how will they use them. Was Biden admin playing politics setting up a big “EV” buy for trump?

I wondered about the timeline on that as well. I didn't see any way this kind of purchase could make its way through the process in the 3+ weeks Trump has been in office.

No clue. Agree any contracts with Musk's companies should be under heightened scrutiny.
