There is this new You Tube phenomena of the new music generation posting You Tube videos where the You Tuber "listens" to older rock music for the first time and comments. I enjoy these videos because the people listening, sometimes, get completely blown away.
When the you tuber starts "bobbing their heads" and their eyes get wide, its fun to monitor the reactions!

AIC does that to first time listeners.
SRV (Stevie Ray Vaughn) does that to first time listeners (My fav is Voodoo Child slight return) I think SRV was even better than Hendrix.
    Tool does that to folks.

Of course depending on ones preference that could be true for young uns, listening to most anything from the past.

I find it kinda hits a positive nerve to see first timers rockin to music I enjoy(ed) from the past.

There's some videos on Youtube that are called "if AiC wrote..." that covers other popular rock songs as if AiC wrote them (not just a cover). They aren't done by AiC, but they are awesome. Check them out if you're an AiC fan.

There are a couple of AIC tunes played and sung by Tool (Maynard) that are fun to watch. I think Layne would have given Maynard a tip of the cap!

I'm à little skeptic with those "rock music reactions" YouTube shows. I saw the one reviewing Black Sabbath's first 6 albums. I just find it hard to believe that they haven’t heard Paranoid, Iron man, War pigs, etc. But, yeah. It's kind of nice to see young people appreciate those kinds of music, especially heavy metal.

I was a little skeptical of YouTube reactions of music I liked in the 70's as well. Every once in a while I will see a deep cut that I thought that only I knew of. I keep waiting for some songs to no avail. I think they are genuine reactions but only to make a buck. For me it would be nice to have an actual musician to explain what everyone in the band was doing with difficult chords and tempo changes etc. I don't believe that will ever happen because a musician would probably spend time actually making music instead of watching someone else like I do. But such is life, I will always get second best because the most qualified person will never put up with bs and has other ideas.

    QB- Agree

RB- See our RB haul as an A because we have a talented RB room with eligibility and took a presumably very good RB from fsu

OL- Sorry, but see our OL haul as light on numbers and star ranking. Should be a C, maybe. Always take a minimum of 4 so that by the numbers two remain after the next couple of cycles.

DL- really like the numbers but some think we needed another big butt. To me, the group is at least B+.

LB- if both were high 4 star I would agree, but flat C is highest I would rate. I know we have two on the field but if one leaves for whatever reason, you have a class of one from this cycle.

    WR and DB- Money $$$$

TE- under Napier bores me. I don't recall Kyle Pitts being a great blocker.

OL: One more would have been nice. A lot of turnover at the end of next year. UF could be looking for 6-8 in 2026. Stars are fine, imo. One 4-star guy and two prospects rated higher than Slaughter and about the same as Harris. DPL is the lowest rated, but in the summer he had a good camp at FSU. He was very physical after the camp in his Sr. season and picked up better offers.

LB: I think B is fair. I guess Jackson's Jr. season was crazy good and Johnson is an athletic physical prospect with an excellent offer list (UF, Bama, LSU, Washington).

DL: Good HS haul. Like we've all said just need one from the portal to complete the group. Shivers is a great example of why "recruiting stars" are incomplete. The kid is a solid 6'4 365lbs, runs away from defenders when he plays RB and had offers from UF, UGA, Texas, Oregon, Tennessee and others. Give him 3 stars... GTFOH!

Pup, Chiles, Graham and Robinson not bad 4 and the two recent signees were very good. One was a former Saban Bama commit and one was the number 1 LB on one of the services committed to USC west. I will take someone Saban likes on D all day long. Chiles and Graham were in the top 10 LBs last year, so we have 3 too 10 recruits the past two years. Presumably a good young LB coach just hired and our Assistant HC has excellent knowledge of coaching LBs as well
