Aberdeen along with Haugh is one of our “7 starters”. When Martin is back he’ll still get starter’s minutes

 

To date, Martin has been getting 70% of the mins and Aberdeen 50%. Pre-Clayton/Martin injuries, I'd guess Aberdeen saw an even smaller piece of the pie.

It'll be interesting to see how those are divied up when the backcourt is back to healthy.

 

ESPN has us as 68% favorite.

No doubt. For the majority of our fan hood, beating a ranked conference opponent on the road was just not much of a thing. When these guys are on though, they are killers. TFGs offensive teams are so fun to watch and this group has mixed in a pretty darn good defense (kenpom #8).

 

The always astute Erik Fawcett pointed out that the Gators tweaked their pick-and-roll defense at the half, and thereby shut down the MSU offense that was generating so many easy buckets at the hoop in the first half. That's great coaching.

 

Martin sometimes carries this team on his back when things aren't going well. He's an okay shooter but a GREAT downhill guard. Really loves to get to the rim in a hurry.

 

Yup. They both bring very different things to this team offensively and that's great. No matter what the rotational minutes look like going forward, these past 3 games have been a huge benefit for DA, and in turn the team as a whole.

 

The two-man game that is/was developing between Haugh and Condon has been a revelation. It has the potential of really blowing up. They have big defenders who (IMO) really aren't built to react fast enough.

 

One thing to add, and it pains me to say this about a Vol...I thought Dane was good on the commentary.

 

They're on the same wavelength and have really taken it up a notch of late. Exactly what I thought the Gators needed to be a legit title contender.
