Project 25 wants to eliminate the national weather service and the national hurricane center.

Everyone has a weather app on their phone, we don’t need those agencies to tell us what the weather is going to be

It’s not proprietary, they can do their own.

For a fee of course. gotta line some pockets, right?
Besides, we the taxpayers pay for the weather satellites, balloons, and meteorologists who analyze the data and generate the forecasts. Why should we pay some private company a fee for something we are already paying for? Musk or some fatcat gop donor looking to make $$$$.

So $ for DOD, tax cuts for the 1% and eliminate everything else. What could possibly go wrong?

Again, where do those isobars come from? Yes there are privately owned weather radar, but much of the available radar info is NWS.

The weather.gov site is the most accurate for my purposes. Figures Trump supporters are pushing to move away from accurate information.

The Doppler Radar system, which is the most sophisticated, is co-owned by the NWS and FAA. Both Federal Government agencies. That's where 99% of all TV weather persons and weather apps get their information.

I tried using a VPN to bypass this but they’re apparently using it by GPS or the country’s App Store you downloaded the app.
