DeSantis doesn't do everything the way I want but I'd take him as permanent Governor. I think he'd be a good President too. He's more disciplined than Trump. What top democrat choices do you admire?

We are talking about populist trolling and purposefully demonizing Americans. Desantis has no issue doing that. That doesnt play as well on the Democrat side. Dems worst characteristic is that they campaign on working class ideas but take corporate money and influence as often as the GOP letting down their constituents. Its a different problem. I’ve know a few like her. Very anti gay and abortion. However when Obama was nominated they voted for him. I ask one why? “Because he’s like me”. His color trumped their religious beliefs.

Yes it is different. Dems don't take it to the extreme that Trump does ('scum', 'vermin'...) and don't do it on a daily basis like Trump does. That you're having to go back nearly 10 years to find an example of a Dem doing it just makes the point.
