    Huge win!!!

    takeaways-

Team is best with Denzel starting. Love to see Martin as 6th man or with less minutes.

Urban K. Is The dude I thought he was and he just needed a real opportunity. A poster on here about a week ago made a great point in saying he really hasn’t had many opportunities to truly find his groove. While some said not athletic not this not that, it was clear the whole time the kid had it in him. We are a very different team with him contributing.

Condo outplayed Broome For the second year in a row and was much much more physical. The combination of he and Haugh gave us 33 and 19 and were dominant.

Clayton is what we knew- he makes us go and Truly is one of the best guards in the country.

I think Urban is Lee Humphrey's love child. They look a lot alike to me, especially when shooting threes.

What I love is that we are adding depth with experience moving forward. Urban can now be submitted for meaningful minutes and this will bode well especially come tourney time. We have 5 capable guards and four capable bigs. This will benefit us whenever we play against refs. Fantastic win.

I was thinking if all he did was spot up on the line he could replicate the Hump magic. And yet Urban can handle the ball and is a blur. He has the look of someone who may take a spot next year.

I think they said only 5 or 6 teams have ever beaten #1 twice in a season. Can’t imagine it’s ever happened 3 times. Maybe that year when the Big East had 3 Final Four teams but I have no idea how they were ranked during the season.

Haugh’s FT shooting improvement from last year to this can’t be overlooked. Not just the extra points during the game, but being able to keep him in games late and not worry about him being a liability because of an inability to shoot free throws.

Just a testament to his hard work. Not many players improve that much from year to year.

We are getting better and stronger as the season progresses IMHO, which is quite remarkable considering the gauntlet of the SEC. We were even one man down without the injured Alija Martin and still beat the number 1 team at their place. Clayton Jr is a warrior playing all 40 minutes. How about Urban Klavzar! He does need some more minutes out there. Golden was golden with that find! Go Gators!

1 point short of having 6 players in double figures. That is what you call a well-balanced offensive brigade

Everyone stepped up their game. Man down, circle the wagons. Kinda like UT did against us.

I am still giddy about beating Auburn (an incredibly talented team) like a drum on their court. The game was not as close as the final score. Amazing win.

But we have to go to Starkville and play a very good MSU team on Tuesday. Time to get over it and back to the job at hand. Lots of basketball to be played.

    Right here
Yeah if it was up to me, I’d definitely have Auburn at #1. I don’t see how we can argue against only 2 losses, both to top 5 teams, and 12 quad one wins.

Maybe I’d have this right now:

    Auburn
    Bama
    Duke
    Florida
    Tenn
    Houston

I was off. Most of you said we would not move ahead of Auburn. We did not. And many said Tennessee would stay ranked ahead of us. They did not. If Alabama stays number one when we play them, the media will be all over it IMHO:
"Can the Gators beat the number one team for the third time this season??"
