I find Tubberville’s comments more weird, since he seems to want to take “partial credit” somehow for Mahomes although he did at least correct that he never coached him (apparently he never even met him during recruiting either). I don’t expect Trump (or any person who isn’t super into CFB) to know the minutia of who played for what team or who coached who. Maybe he’s making up the account, but who cares? Trump lies, water is wet. Tubberville on the other hand? That would be like U.S. Senator Ron Zook trying to take credit for recruiting Tebow to FL.

Yes, and we chose Biden over Trump four years ago. The presidency switches parties all the time. But I don't recall every criticism of Biden getting this kind of response.

We've seen this movie before on multiple levels. The potus does or says something, which by definition makes it newsworthy no matter who the potus is. People then post and talk about it and suddenly it's TDS. It is blasphemy to throw any shade at their orange idol.
That is weird. Tuberville even said “I got to be very good friends with him” even though he left before coaching him, and Mahomes says he can’t recall ever meeting him…. Awkward. It’s like Tuberville feels like he needs to lie to cover for Trump’s petty lies, or fall out of good graces with him…. Which is probably true.

Question something a Republican does ... "Yeah, well the Democrats ..." Question something a Democrat does .... "Yeah, well the Republicans ..."
