Way to go Mia!!!. She took a lot of heat on message boards from Gator fans last season, as did Tim Walton for continuing to play her. Based on the first 3 games this year, she's proving her value and talent.

The radio guys said Brooke Barnard is the only other Gator with catching experience. I won't be surprised if Coach Walton gives her a chance to play behind the plate the next time he decides to move Erickson to first. Can't have an automatic out in the 8 slot.

 

Looks like future strategy will include using a DP to hit for Bellaire. I guess that means using Bellaire with either Rothrock or Brown pitching.
