I know a couple coasties that also say she was the best thing for morale in their careers. She wasn't big on mass deportations and was ok with bringing on "any" recruit that met the criteria. So she had to go. And not just go, she had to be embarrassed and humiliated

If that wasn't the case the process of evicting her with three hours notice is another example of Trump being an a-hole bent on retribution with a propensity to humiliate anyone who doesn't worship him.

That's some Trump-grade attention to detail, micromanaging vindictiveness, right there. With all he has going on right now, he still remembered to evict the admiral before the agreed upon time. You don't see political pettiness like that very often.

This admiral wasn't even fired because of dereliction of duty, or incompetence. She wasn't under investigation for war crimes, like the soldiers Trump pardoned. She was just a scapegoat for DEI. Easier to fire than the commanders of the other 4 branches of the military. Low hanging fruit. Trump does love to lop off that low-hanging fruit.
