Trumps proposal for Palestinians

Let’s see: Canada can be the 51st state, Greenland 52nd. I guess Gaza can step in at 53.

 

Just send all the Palestinians to Utah. Or maybe Wyoming.

Trump, our Developer in Chief, had this to say about the prospect:

"Trump, a former real estate developer, last month referred to Gaza as “a phenomenal location, on the sea, the best weather,” and added that “some fantastic things could be done with Gaza.” On Tuesday, he referred to the area as the “Riviera” of the Middle East and “something that could be so magnificent.”

He doesn't want to hand it over to Israel, he wants to break the Gaza into condos and time shares.

I'm thinking the Arab nations will oppose this plan, bigly.

Unless the rest of the Middle East decides to embrace another US foothold in their backyard, and allows it to happen, nothing will be annexed. Settle down.

 

Israel has been bombing it for 16 months and nothing, but if America wants to annex a wasteland and rebuild it, the other Middle East countries are going to stop us? They’d soon we annex before they’d agree to Israel doing the same. Someone has to administer that land if there is to be a rebuild.

The choices aren't only the US and Israel. I'll bet some of the landlocked desert nations would be interested in a large gentrification on waterfront property! And if, (a giant if) Trump were allowed to annex (seize) Gaza, who would want to live there (lovely condos notwithstanding)? The last inhabitants didn't fare so well, did they?

 

I bet Trump’s plan is to temporarily move the residents of Gaza to Greenland while “the Strip” is being remodeled. The only problem I see is it will be tough to cultivate olive trees in Greenland.

thats like saying the skidmark has a mandate. the great majority want a safe place to live and have a family and be safe. Many hate Israel, look at what they were raised in, but they also want a better life. Give them a better life in a rebuilt Gaza policed by a responsible intl force. No weapons other than intl forces. Bulldoze it and build it back at a decent standard of living. Arab states can fund it.

the separation and isolation of Gaza was a manmade problem made worse by Israel and settlers. If it was made by man, it can be unmade

Gaza is a desolate wasteland right now. There's no where for those 2M to live. This happened once in Japan. We went in and rebuilt. Didn't turn out so bad.

 

quick, how many palestenians have Israeli citizenship? 500k? over/under? try 4x that. you think 2M Palestinians with Israeli citizenship want the total destruction of Israel?

The stated reason for 9/11 was America’s support of Israel in its aggression towards Palestine, but I’m sure we won’t have nothing to worry about though with this buffoon in the WH.
