I could have sworn I read fresh oragator posts recently.

But I agree, if Trump is running him off we should at least give him a forum ban.

He's posted here every now and then for the last couple of years, nothing has really changed from what I can tell.

By gatorade, I assume you me (I had to settle for two Rs in my screen name), and if so, I’m humbled to be included in this context. I wish Trump ran me off. Mostly, it’s my damn house. I’ve been pretty checked out of everything not home improvement related. I feel like I’m going to spend the rest of my sanding walls and cleaning grout lines. The house has definitely come a long way from the beginning, but it somehow never feels closer to the end.

Anyway, I glance at this forum occasionally, and coincidently came across your thread. I do think many takes on here are predictable, but I think that extends to almost every poster, including myself. But Trump probably does make this predictability all the more obvious. Whatever you feel about him, you have to admit that Trump elicits responses. lol.

Dammit - looks like I'm going to have to witness more conversations wear I see people responding to witless pablum and I just have no idea who they are talking too. So it is.

 

The worst part about Trump is that he's Trump. But things are even worse. The country now has a Lord Protector in Musk. Lord Protector is a title that was used in Britain (I just watched "Young Bess" on TCM) for a head of state when the king was absent, a child, in a second childhood, unable to govern, etc. Trump and the country are in good unelected South African hands!

 

Speaking of being predicable that adjective really applies to the guy whose responses almost always include GIFs.

Excellent post. Constitutional or not it appears that the elected nominal president has delegated his authority to the unelected South African Co-President. I would further add that the co-president is completely unconstrained by the Constitutional and statutory limitations on the power of an actual elected president.
