Good thing that American companies can't change prices, because a decrease in competition would likely cause an increase in price...

    Chinese fentanyl.

Kills almost 100,000 ppl per year stateside.

The objective is to get them to shut down illegal border crossings by which fenty floods in to our country.

Somehow, for some reason I can't quite put my finger on, the Chicom Puppet Party (CPP) seems all for fenty deaths, while simultaneously all in on our committing national suicide by spending ourselves into ruin (like the USSR did to cause their collapse--it's like the Chicoms took notes or something....I digress...) over Covid.

I guess Covid deaths are bad, but fenty deaths good, per the CPP calculus...

I drink Venezuelan & Nicaraguan rum mostly. Bourbon on occasion. Rum used to be the drink of aristocrats in America. Whiskey was a hillbilly drink. After the revolution, we taxed Whiskey (our 1st tax), but not rum. The tax was essentially a transfer from hillbillies to rich folks...the US gov had to pay 'em back for bankrolling the revolution. This is what led to the Whiskey rebellion. Weirdly, I learned this from a country music podcast, Cocaine & Rhinestones.*

I learned about the 6 day war from a music podcast on All Along the Watchtower.

    * I learned a lot of history from this pod, including the fascinating history of pinball machines...they were banned for decades in NYC...it is said that at least 500 machines were thrown in the East River. It also may be the first time that big data was used commercially (juke boxes were made by a company that also made juke boxes). There's actually a sub genre of pinball country music.

On that particular product, Canada is taking all U.S. whiskey and liquor off their shelves. So that means we probably see a glut of domestic whiskey no longer destined for Canada. On that example it may not translate to higher whiskey prices here, a temporary glut of inventory may even decrease prices (I assume that depends on which side sends more whiskey across the border). But the producers will be hurt by lost business. A lot of truckers carrying goods will lose jobs.

I bet the 10 year rate is soon around 5%. Shorting the 10-year is prob a good move.

If there are any intelligent advisors left who are able to talk any sense what-so-ever into the Heritage Masters who are running the country now, then maybe they created enough loop-holes so Trump can put on his dog and pony show for TV, while not completely crashing the US economy. Though, it is not even clear at this point if that even matters to Republicans.

Imagine responding to being economically attacked by directing it at those responsible and being called “petty” for it. Absurdism.

Your prediction isn’t looking so stellar in the futures markets. Bond traders don’t allow TDS to affect their strategy. A temporary slow down in economic activity? Maybe. Inflation? Lol, get real, bruh. 10 year yield has been dipping since Trump began talking specs on tariffs.
