Maybe...our road schedule may be tougher in 2025. We haven't had a lot of big wins on the road in the last 3 years.
True, but that would assume our expectations are having a top team next year. My expectations are tempered somewhat because our D lost a fair amount of key contributors, the WR's are a bit of an unknown, and BN will still be calling the Offense. I'm psyched about our OL and RB's and think DJL has the potential to really take a big step forward if he stays healthy. If the promising young talent on the D can step up and play like the D did in the latter half of 2024 we will have a chance to be a top team. If not, I'm thinking that we may only improve marginally.
Skink, I've spent lots of time over the years in New Orleans, loved being around the French Quarters, and the food was awesome. Some of my favorite places were Mothers, Court of Two Sisters, Gumbo shop, the Italian Grocer for muffuletta's, Pat O Brians, Cafe du monde, Drago's, and 25 cent oysters at the Purple Parrot, Johnny Sanchez and that's only half of the places. Live in TN now but miss the gulf coast and New Orleans especially the crawfish.
Such a unique place. I was a big fan of the Bon Ton Cafe on Magazine. Best bread pudding on the planet. Crawfish etouffee
My time there was before you. Middendorf’s is a seafood restaurant off of I-55 in Manchac Pass between Lake Pontchartrain and Lake Maurepas. Specialty is catfish. Very cool place. Home - Middendorf's Restaurant
I recall Lagway had only 1 yard passing in the 1st quarter @FSU. Considering how atrocious FSU is up and down, I cannot fathom how our offense managed only to eek out 1 yard passing for the entire quarter. Eye brows raised indeed.
Napier is not hiring an OC, so I am not sure why you would preemptively bash fans for what their supposed reaction would be to something that will never happen? Speaking for myself, I would love it if he brought in a hotshot OC. But it will never happen, so I am not sure what the point of your post is. The criticism from the "negative nellies" on this topic is clearly warranted. There are no other top coaches in the country winging it without an OC and our offensive stats under CBN haven't validated such a negligence.
Chapman interviewing doesn't thrill me. He might be our best position coach. I would like us to throw money at him if necessary.
