Distance yourselves from all the left wing social issues. You don't want to be associated with DEI, gender transitioning, CRT, etc.

Focus on how you're going to improve the economy, crime and security. That's what average Americans want to know.

Choose a candidate who sounds intelligent.

Do you really think this accomplishes anything other than starting a pissing match?

It's a legit topic, isn't it? I didn't see another thread discussing what the democrats should do in the future.

My advice to Democrats would be to double and triple down on Woke and identity politics.

Take a lesson from Hakeem Jeffries. He has a diverse group but has them united when it is time to vote. Everyone gets a say but after that they are united.

They don't really talk much about CRT any more but it is a leftwing social concept that is clearly part of the woke democrat agenda.

I'm fine if they keep pushing their social agenda I was just giving an honest suggestion.

CRT is a perfect example. Republicans have been very good at convincing Americans that CRT is really scary and it's everywhere. And Democrats have been ineffective at fighting that.

Since democrats and republicans are 99% the same on the economy (actually, democrats are historically better), crime, and security, the only thing that separates the two parties anymore is social issues. So I’ll still with the party that doesn’t preach hate.

My advice would be to do a better job of not letting the other side define your priorities and policies so that people don't think all you care about is CRT, DEI, and gender transitioning. But when MAGA sits in a bubble and is fed that bullshit 24/7, what can you do?

Dems need to get better at brainwashing apparently. Obviously conservatives have been more successful with that recently. Especially with older people.

Yeah. I really only know one or two Democrats who legitimately care a whole lot about stuff like that. But the right wing news bubble would have you think it's all Dems care or talk about. The only people who ever bring it up on this board are MAGA voters, and they do it all the time.

Seems to me republicans called out CRT for what it was and the democrats had no defense other than saying it wasn't widespread (yet).

It is a social science theory taught in college amongst many other theories of social science.

DEI is generally a corporate program to help less represented groups of people (by race, gender, disability, etc.) feel more comfortable and feel like they are part of the culture of a company, through hiring, retention, and cultural programs.

These are two different things and yet the right seems to use both as the same. I suggest that is because the people that oppose these things the most are generally doing so utilizing purely emotional processing. Essentially, the thing that upsets them is the recognition of an uneven playing field in anything but the most abstract fashion humanly possible. I'd suggest that the source of that emotion is a bit of the hit dog hollering.

Basically, it has forced some people to have pretty complicated emotions. They view themselves as people who don't discriminate or as benefiting from people who discriminate and did so to their benefit. And yet, these other people are pointing out that discrimination often does occur, often in ways that are not as obvious as conscious, cognitive forms of discrimination. The fact that somebody is pointing it out makes a certain group feel uncomfortable and feel less deserving of their lot in life. That brings out the anger.

Why did you vote for Trump then when he called Democrats scum and vermin?

This line of argument that Democrats were mean to maga is the most snowflake bullshit imaginable. FJB indeed.
