Lowest point in years for the program, blown off the court by FSU. Really not even competitive....Jin at 1 and Jefferson at 3 were battling but that's about it. Doubles remains awful. Ganesan and Nirundorn are not playing well, none of the freshmen are seeing the court. Our two portal guys played and were ineffective. Expected a rough season, but it could be brutal
I dont want to be negative, I know he is basically new to us. But like you I know a few very avid tennis people who follow the programs religiously who dont like the direction of the program
Men are facing FGCU today.....barely won a very tight doubles point. Just starting singles, no Jin, no Ganesan, no Nirundorn, No Edengren. Throwing out the freshmen with Jefferson at 1. Interesting
Beat Fgcu 4-1. Impressive wins at 5 and 6 from freshman, top 4 courts were pretty sloppy. Jefferson lost on 1, Jon magnus won a 3 setter, Paliska and Weintraub were in 3rd sets.
Forgot to post results of the match vs UNC Wilmington earlier today Played poor doubles as usual but eyed out a 2-1 win Jin didn't finish on 1 Ganesan lost on 2 Jefferson lost on 3 Johnson won a 3 setter on 4 Villard won a 3 setter on 5 Weintraub comfortable win on 6 2 wins on the day, some nice play by freshmen at 5 and 6.....but overall nothing that improves the season outlook for this team
