This happens every day in business, athletics, sports franchises college and pro. Basically any organization. Trump campaigned on this specifically and received 312 electoral votes. None of these moves are a surprise to anyone other than those who are just now getting past the denial stage in grief and on to anger/lashing out
Although, of course, these enterprises that promote, hire and fire solely based on sycophantic loyalty soon suffer at the bottom line, or go out of business. But Trump doesn't really care about America.
