If RFK, Jr. is confirmed it will be another 51 - 50 vote with JD Vance casting the tiebreaker. Same for Kash Patel. I'm predicting the Tulsi Gabbard will not be confirmed. She is so unqualified and represents such a threat to national security that more than the three Republicans who defected in Hegseth confirmation and will probably defect in the RFK, Jr confirmation vote will defect and vote against her confirmation.

Tulsi Gabbard poses a grave threat to the Military Industrial Complex and also the deeply entrenched practice of spying on America citizens.

Why did Trump push for the develop of and the marketing of this "poison clot shot"? Is that something a true patriot would do? We wouldn't have had a "poison clot shot" if it were not for Trump

Not a hard question. Trump is first and foremost a believer in germ theory. ‘Experts’ told him the pandemic of the century was upon us and that if he did not act with due haste he’d be the author of another Holocaust.

I supported her attempt to improve childhood nutrition, especially in regards to school lunches. I thought she should have phased it in a little slower but that doesn't mean I was opposed to the program.

I remember those threads. "You can pry my Coca-Cola from my cold dead hands" was the basic mood of every one of them.

Heritage Foundation. I dare you to read this.

Why Michelle Obama Is Wrong on School Lunches | The Heritage Foundation

Michelle Obama thinks she knows what your children should eat. She’s adamant about promoting her nutrition policies for kids, even the new and disastrous school meal standards implementing the “Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act.”

In a recent MSN interview, Michelle Obama revealed her own struggles with getting her kids to eat properly before she came to the White House. This apparently led to a major realization: “I thought to myself, if a Princeton- and Harvard-educated professional woman doesn’t know how to adequately feed her kids, then what are other parents going through who don’t have access to the information I have?”

But attending Ivy-League schools doesn’t magically make someone better parent material than an individual who attended a public university, or, dare it be said, someone who didn’t attend college. It also doesn’t mean that she should be a co-parent to your children. Make no mistake; the underlying assumption is that federal technocrats and educated individuals such as her need to act on your behalf to meet the best interests of your children.

This arrogance is on display in the current controversy over the new and restrictive federal school meal standards. Since the 2010-11 school year, participation in the school lunch program has fallen dramatically after more than a decade of growth. Most of the decline occurred in the 2012-2013 school year, when participation fell by over a million students. This just so happens to be the first year that the standards were in effect.

His vaccine position is certainly fair game to take shots at, but that seemed like a rather pointless exchange - he’s presumably correct that he doesn’t have the power to make a group that he’s no longer affiliated with do anything.

I doubt Sanders expects him to make that call. He’s just hammering home that this was his organization and the type of nonsense RFK was peddling via that anti-vaxxer organization up until very recently.

He just straight up lied about his position on vaccines. “I’m supportive of vaccines”. LOL. No he isn’t.

I'll be surprised if all Republican Senators vote for him.

*sighs* RFK Jr is not an anti-vaxxer.

    I’m an anti-vaxxer.

John Oliver did a Segment on that, including a clip of Kennedy saying something like “not my problem” when asked about it.

There are some issues where he is right. The problem is in those instances where he is wrong it’s so egregious that any one of those positions is disqualifying.

Do you honestly think that story would change republican senators minds, apart from 2 or 3 of them?

my take is if he doesn’t pass it will be in part because his heterodox views which include very liberal views in other areas.

It’s a shame there aren’t any qualified candidates out there. We went from build a bear to do bears really shat in the woods. Pendulum politics for the insane.

Caroline is as nutty as Blasey Ford and E Jean. Hard to listen to the democratic Senators give a 5-minute dissertation they practiced with the Pharma lobbyists beforehand and then give Kennedy very little time to answer the question. Libs used to stand up to Big Pharma, while Republicans took the handouts. Now both parties are well taken care of. That is what makes RFK so appealing.
