I was wrong and didn't include Kentucky. I also included Georgia and Texas when Warner started. This isn't to say that DJ necessarily would have lit them up, but we weren't lighting up the opposition. We averaged 384 yards against P4 teams when DJ started, which would be ranked about 70th in the nation. Not exactly great, but nowhere near the worst.
And ge eas a true freshman with no legs. I expect we should get inside the top 35 maybe next year? Its a tough schedule . If we are ranked 35 against those defenses, we will be much better than thise rankings. I would imagine the points we put up against Ole Miss and LSU were slightly better than average for their defense.
